Ontario now on AMT

No, not the province in Canada--though we do cover Toronto and Ottawa--two cities that are located in the province north of Ohio.

This Ontario sprouts in southern California, about 90 minutes commute east of LA and 90 minutes north of San Diego--without traffic, of course. Some even consider the growing city to be a LA suburb. And city officials hope that its international airport will service more LA metro travelers as urban sprawl continues its path to the right. Some airlines are taking notice, including ExpressJet, which utilizes Ontario as one of its hubs for non-stop flights into second-tier markets.

And as it seems for every town in California, Ontario has been the hometown of its fair share of notable professional athletes. Prince Fielder (MLB Milwaukee Brewers), Mike Sweeney (MLB KC Royals and Padres), Anthony Munoz (retired Hall of Fame NFL tackle for the Bengals) and Landon Donovan (MLS soccer) to name a few.
