Obama needs some help...some serious help! Regardless of your political leanings and whether you think the economy is headed in the right or wrong direction, we all should want our Prez to look strong, like a leader, in-the-know, cool, even a little stiff is okay by me especially when meeting with other Heads of State. But, OMG!! What is he thinking--and more importantly what are his people thinking (and Michelle)--when they let him go out of the Martha's Vineyard compound on a bike ride wearing THAT (old baggy jeans, running shoes, collared shirt), putting on THAT (enormous bubble helmet straight off the WalMart shelf), and worst of all, riding THAT THAT THAT (can you find a less athletic bike than that sit-up straight hybrid built for the 80-year old who needs to commute to water aerobics!!??)
Can you honestly tell me that this bike is "Presidential"? I don't expect my Commander-in-Chief to hop on a $10K Trek Madone, but sheesh, there are mountain bikes in the Vineyard, no? And, if not, bring a Specialized Hybrid up from DC on Marine 1. What's next, a unicycle?
Contrast our leader's image with tough guy Vladdy Putin's and based on imagery alone, tell me who you want covering your back. In politics, image is almost everything and our guy needs a makeover!
