Ironman Hawaii Update: Faris Al Sultan Withdraws

One of the race favorites, German Faris Al Sultan, has withdrawn from today's Ironman Hawaii. According to his agent, he has battled "stomach issues" for the past 2 days and will not be able to compete at 100 percent. That's really too bad. Faris is one of the great guys in the sport and would have brought a strong run to the finish.
