For your travel headache

If you watch any TV, you have undoubtedly been blasted by a commercial for HeadOn--a topical headache remedy. HEAD ON APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD -- repeat, repeat and repeat.

Anyway, the homeopathic medication may be just the thing for those who eschew pill popping. And since you simply apply it to your forehead, you don't need agua or any other liquid beverage--making it perfect for travel. There are six variations of the product.

But what prompted this post is that according to Advertising Age the annoying commercials have been a raging success in terms of sales growth figures--over 200%. Miralus Healthcare, the marketer of HeadOn credits the campaign's success to "recall."

You gotta hand it to them; once you hear/see the ad, you don't forget it.

This appears to be just another commercial for HeadOn, but no where do I see any commentary on whether this will actually help a headache.
My comment is that just because the ads are annoying enough to prompt great sales, I would like to know that there is something substantial about the product's effectiveness. Can any one speak to whether this product is actually worth buying? Or is it only worth buying just because of the success of their commercials?
