I ride an upright stationary bike often. I can read and it's a nice way to, somewhat, sit still and focus for 30 minutes. I don't think I'd ever make it through the newspaper without my cycle.
And when I travel, I also like to ride. And it completely annoys me that at most hotel fitness centers and health clubs, the pedal straps are missing.
Am I alone on this?
I just posted the same question on a cycling forum and I'll be curious if others share my frustration.
To any hotel manager, fitness center manager, and/or health club manager, PLEASE make sure the cycles (recumbent AND upright) have pedal straps.
THANKS!

You sound like me - gotta be
You sound like me - gotta be doing something while working out. I use my laptop while on my treadmill. Wouldn't be able to get through my walk without it. Good luck with your missing strap quest.
Consistently drives me crazy
Consistently drives me crazy when on the road, not sure where they all go as it is not like they have value beyond the intended use, must be like socks in the dryer......
